Jr. Journalism: I Like the Roosevelt Zoo

My favorite Roosevelt Zoo animal are the red pandas. But I also like the farm area with the wolves and lambs and goats and bees. The animal that looked like a half donkey, half zebra and half giraffe, okapi, was really interesting.

The Red Pandas at the Roosevelt Zoo are named Fred and George. They eat bamboo. They like the temperature to be cooler. When me and my mom went to the zoo and we saw the red pandas, they weren’t there. A couple hours later, we went to see them again and one was eating his lunch.

The gibbons don’t have tails, but they have really long arms. When we were there, they were singing, that sounded like screaming, and doing a swinging show. They like to eat fruit but can also eat leaves and flowers.
The Zoo is right next to the Hot Tots games stadium. I like the Roosevelt Zoo.
