Hello to Members and Friends of the Taube Museum of Art,
Our names are Priyanka and Abhinn. We are kindly writing to invite and request your support for our upcoming fundraising event “A Celebration For Ellie”. Our daughter Elina, who we called Ellie, was such a joy in our lives! She was happy and healthy. Very sadly and suddenly, she passed away at just 5 weeks old in January 2019. We are grateful to the Minot community’s support. Even though we have moved out of state, we are returning to North Dakota to host an event in honor of Ellie on her first birthday. We hope to raise awareness for pregnancy and infant loss, share information about the organizations we’re supporting, and also to promote the beautiful Taube Museum of Art.
“A Celebration For Ellie” will be held at the Taube on December 4, 2019, drop-in from 11am-2pm and main event from 6-9pm. It will be open to all members of the community and free to attend. Abhinn has taken some beautiful landscape/nature photos in Minot and during our travels. We will be printing and selling canvases for $50 at the art gallery and will be donating all proceeds from sales to 1. the Hopeful Heart Project (https://www.hopefulheartproject.org/) to help support other bereaved families in Minot and 2. The Minot Area Homeless Coalition, Inc. (http://minotareahomelesscoalition.com/) to support their holiday gift giving initiatives.
As hosts of the event, Abhinn and I are taking on all of the overhead costs and will be donating every dollar raised to both organizations. We have a number of exciting raffle prizes and tickets will be available at the event; 1 for $5, 3 for $10, and 6 for $15. We will also have some ice cream, treats, and glitter tattoos! Please join us as we celebrate For Ellie and share with your family and friends!

Museum and Gift Shop hours: Tues – Fri 10:30 – 5:30 pm, Sat 11:00 am – 4:00 pm or by special appointment. There is no charge for admission, but contributions are accepted to help the Taube Museum fulfill their mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.
