Souris Valley Amateur Radio Field Day

Souris Valley Amateur Radio Club (SVARC) extends an invitation to you to attend our upcoming Winter Field Day taking place on Jan 27th and 28 at our club site south of Minot on Hwy 83 & 149th Ave SW.

Winter Field Day is an annual event hosted by amateur radio clubs
across the country, where radio operators compete to make as many contacts as possible with other stations over a 24-hour period. This event not only serves as a test of our emergency communication skills but also provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about amateur radio and its many applications.  During the event, members of the public will be welcome to visit our station and learn more about amateur radio.  We believe that Winter Field Day is a valuable event that showcases the skills and capabilities of amateur radio operators, while also raising awareness of the role we play in emergency communications. We would be honored to have you join us for this event to see what we do and how our main station is set up.
