Freedom Fest

Kick off the weekend with an evening of food, fun, and fireworks on Friday, 27 June!

Start the celebration at the base Library from 2PM – 4PM with hands-on patriotic STEAM activities. Launch film bottle rockets, create salt-painted fireworks, explore our mini education info fair, and don’t miss the explosive Coke and Mentos demo every hour on the hour!

Then, head to the Rockers Parking Lot from 6PM – 10PM for even more fun. Enjoy family-friendly favorites like a kids zone, face painting, axe throwing, mini golf, yard games, and music from a live DJ. Come hungry – Rockers Bar & Grill will be serving up tasty food and drinks! Don’t forget to stop by and support our Private Organizations.

End the night with a dazzling fireworks show around 11PM. Visible across base, but for the best view, bring your chairs to Bud Ebert Park and look North!
