Keystone Club Hosts Thanksgiving Skate Night On November 21, high school Keystone Club members organized a Thanksgiving Skate Night from 6-8 p.m. The evening was filled with music, colorful lights, snacks from the Snack Bar, and lively skating games that brought friends together! Colorful disco lights reflected the fun that attendees had as children skated and played games. Keystone members worked behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly—from decorating the Youth Center with a Thanksgiving theme to selling food and snacks at the Snack Bar and helping young skaters find the right shoe sizes.

Throughout the night, Keystone members led games, including limbo and four corners. These games kept the energy high and encouraged skaters of all ages to join in. With children of all ages participating, beginner to advanced skaters each had their place on the rink. This event is part of Keystone’s ongoing fundraising for the National Keystone Conference in Orlando, Florida. With Thanksgiving Skate Night marking their second event following Spookycon, the club will begin hosting monthly events at the Youth Center starting in January.
From then on, Keystone members will be offering even more opportunities for families on base to gather at the Youth Center and have fun. Meanwhile, middle school Torch Club members will also be hosting events and staying involved, including a dance on December 19. Be sure to participate and support both clubs!
