Minot North Game Ball-Delivered by a Helicopter??

The Minot North homecoming football game featured a unique and unforgettable start on September 20 at Sentinel Stadium. Before kickoff, members of the Minot Air Force Base Honor Guard presented the colors during the national anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the night.

The helicopter comes ready for “touchdown”!


In a dramatic entrance, a UH-1 Iroquois helicopter touched down on the field, carrying leadership from the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing. The helicopter crew delivered the official game ball for the matchup, thrilling the homecoming crowd and showcasing the strong partnership between Minot North and the local military community.


The special ceremony added to the excitement of the evening, which ended with the Sentinels’ 28–7 victory over the Spartans.
