Student safety is a top priority for Minot AFB leadership. Yellowfin Transportation will be providing busing again this year for our on-base students attending Dakota Elementary School, North Plains Elementary School, and Memorial Middle School. Minot AFB is a remote and isolated installation with harsh winters; therefore, we are so lucky to have this service! Our on-base winter busing will run from Monday, November 3rd, 2025 through Thursday, April 2nd, 2026.
To register your student, please fill out a “Minot AFB Winter Bus Transportation Request and Agreement,” which can be found on my Facebook page or in my office. In addition, you may request a copy from yellowfin.minot@bragglines.com.
I will host a Busing Town Hall on Monday, October 6th from 6-8pm at the Jimmy Doolittle Center. At my Town Hall, hardcopies of the aforementioned agreement will be available. In addition, I will give a presentation on Yellowfin and its operations. I will also introduce their bus drivers. The evening will end with a Q & A session in which numerous base leaders, our Yellowfin bus manager, and I will be available to answer questions.
As the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for our on-base busing contract, I monthly evaluate Yellowfin, ensuring all requirements and safety protocols are consistently implemented. Your students’ safety is my top priority, and I am always available to address any comments or concerns throughout the contract’s implementation. I look forward to seeing you!
