The 91st Missile Wing proudly recognizes the 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron (MMXS) as April’s Squadron of the Month for their outstanding performance, mission success, and unwavering dedication.
Throughout the month, the 91st MMXS successfully completed 85 inspections across 27 sites in the 742nd Missile Squadron’s flight area, all within just four days. This exceptional pace met critical Air Force Global Strike Command standards and directly supported efforts to reduce overdue periodic maintenance. In addition to this achievement, the squadron conducted a successful Missile Guidance Set replacement, enabling a sortie to return to alert status on the fifth day—demonstrating their pivotal role in ensuring operational readiness.
Their teamwork extended beyond maintenance duties. The 91st MMXS supported the 91st Missile Wing Open House by briefing and demonstrating daily maintenance operations to more than 100 visiting spouses and children—helping build trust and transparency with families.
The 91st MMXS’s excellence was also recognized during the Wing Awards Ceremony, where they earned the Pride Bully Stick after outperforming all other squadrons in the wing.
Through technical precision, mission success, and community engagement, the 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron has proven why they are truly deserving of this honor. Their pride, professionalism, and relentless commitment set the standard for the entire wing.
