While the track athletes are busy setting personal records, the Minot North boys golf team is swinging their way into the season with outstanding performances that are catching attention across the state.
At the Century/Legacy Invitational, standout rounds included:
Kasen Rostad – 75 (3rd place), followed by an 80
Walter Langhans – 81 (15th place)
Kyler Weishaar – 79 (7th place)
Bennett Bartsch – 83 (17th place)
Teegan Dangel – 88 (43rd place)
In the next tournament, the steady play continued:
Bartsch – 86 (24th place)
Tylar Bast – 87 (30th place)
Langhans – 81 (9th place)
Weishaar – 84 (16th place)
Dangel – 86 (24th place)
The team’s biggest moment came at the Bismarck High Invitational, where Minot North clinched 1st place overall—a massive achievement that showcases their talent and team depth. Building on that, they followed up with a 2nd place finish at the Dickinson Invitational, proving that they’re one of the top contenders in the region.
Each player has stepped up when it counts, showing consistency and composure under pressure. With each tournament, they’re sharpening their game and positioning themselves as serious postseason threats.
From the track to the fairway, Minot North athletes are proving that hard work, teamwork, and a positive mindset go a long way. As the season rolls on, the community has every reason to be proud of these student-athletes and their accomplishments.
