Minot North’s JV softball teams showed their passion and resilience in their recent double headers against Watford City. Both JV 1 and JV 2 squads took to the field ready to compete, and the people were treated to a great display of determination and team spirit.
JV 1 came out strong in their first game, delivering solid defense and amazing hitting to secure the win. The team worked together well, stringing together hits and making great plays to keep Watford City off balance. In the second game, Watford City made adjustments and came back strong, handing JV 1 a tough loss, it was a hard game of pitching and offense. Despite the split, JV 1 continues to show growth and promise early in the season.
JV 2 had a challenging start, dropping the first game despite a strong effort. However, they didn’t let that loss define the day. In game two, the team mounted an impressive comeback, fueled by aggressive base running and clutch at-bats. The energy in the dugout was electric as the team rallied to grab the win and earn the split. Both JV teams are showing strong potential and improving with every game. Their effort, teamwork, and never-give-up mentality are laying a great foundation for the rest of the season. Minot North softball is on the rise!
