What do you enjoy most about being an FCC Provider?
I enjoy being able to be home for my own kids and family while still working and being a reliable source of care for others. Preparing activities for all of the kids that I enjoy myself like baking and gardening. With all of the weird schedules in the military I am happy to be able to be a constant for the kids and create happy memories.

What are your interests/hobbies?
My favorite things include movie night with my kids, gardening, quilting, yoga, reading, and spending time outside with my family. Whether it’s around the campfire, hiking or just hanging out.

What advice do you have for new providers/those interested in being FCC Providers?
Always keep an open mind and be willing to learn and grow. FCC can be stressful at times as there is a gray line between your home and your work. But it is so incredibly rewarding knowing that you are making a difference not only in the little lives that enter your home, but their families as well. You are part of the village here in the community where we all help take care of each other among the unpredictability of the military.
