SSgt Alex Kulac

SSgt Alex Kulac, an Avionics Craftsman who recently earned his qualification as a Dedicated Crew Chief for B-52H A0028 “The Tired Eagle.” Whether he’s on the flightline or at the hockey rink, SSgt Kulac is always ready to give his best.

Originally arriving at Minot nearly 11 years ago, SSgt Kulac has built a career around supporting the B-52 mission. His passion for the aircraft is what inspired him to become a Dedicated Crew Chief. He says he always thought it would be rewarding to have his name on an aircraft, and now he proudly serves as the Dedicated Crew Chief for “The Tired Eagle.” For him, there isn’t much better than launching a B-52 and knowing he’s played a direct role in making the mission happen.

When the workday is over, you’ll likely find him on the ice with the Minot Air Force Base Hockey Team. Although he’s only been playing hockey for about three years, the sport has become much more than a hobby. It’s given him the opportunity to build friendships across Team Minot, grow his network on base, and travel for tournaments with his teammates.

From keeping bombers ready to Take Flight to representing Team Minot at the rink, SSgt Kulac continues to embody the dedication, teamwork, and pride that make the Knighthawks mission successful.
