The Minot Spouses Club has graciously provided purple graduation cords since 2023 and this year was no different! The following numbers of military-affiliated graduating seniors at their respective schools/homeschools received cords: 55 at Minot North High School, 13 at Minot High School, and 11 at homeschool/local schools. To these 79 students, we say—as reflected on all certificates—may you continue to thrive wherever you are!
Graduation is a milestone worth celebrating for all students, but it’s especially monumental for military-affiliated students who may have moved six to nine times throughout their educational career, have a current parent or parents serving and/or are deployed, or have a parent who served in the past. In some way, they were or still are personally impacted by the military lifestyle and that is significant, because it is an active and sometimes uncertain lifestyle that is led by brave men and women who serve our country and protect our freedoms. By association, these students serve too.
Congratulations to all the graduating seniors in all schools and homeschool, but especially to our 79 local military-affiliated graduating seniors! You did it!
