Our Redeemer’s Christian School

Our Redeemer’s Christian School is pleased to announce the hire of Bree McCarthy as School Administrator.
McCarthy brings 24 years of experience in education across various roles and school districts,
most recently in the Minot Public School District. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Texas – Permian Basin.
McCarthy and her husband, Col. Michael McCarthy, Commander of the 5th Medical Group at Minot AFB, moved to Minot in 2025 and have two grown children.
McCarthy says she’s looking forward to blending her strong Christian faith with education. “I am honored and eager to serve Christ and step into this role with a humble and grateful heart.
I’m passionate about helping students truly know and experience God’s love while building a strong foundation for their academic success. I deeply value the relationships built with staff, students, and the community. I am committed to creating an environment where each person is valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.”

McCarthy begins her role at ORCS on June 1, 2026. Interim administrator Jodi Hall will remain at ORCS, returning to her position as an assistant administrator and half-day kindergarten teacher.
Our Redeemer’s Christian School provides Christ-centered education with the goal of building strong minds rooted in Truth, faithful hearts guided by grace, and servant leaders living for the glory of God. Established in 1982 as a ministry of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Brethren Church, today it is a PreK-12 school serving approximately 300 students from the Minot area.
