This year a kick-off reception was held on Thursday, January 8th at the Minot Municipal Auditorium which featured a ribbon cutting ceremony and announcements from our board members detailing the circus performances, children’s ticket support, and business and corporate sponsorships.

We would like to thank all the local businesses and corporations that have supported us in the past. Their sponsorships have been tantamount to us being able to not only put on the Shrine Circus but to also distribute free tickets to school children in kindergarten through grade six in our surrounding school districts and home school organizations.

The Shrine Circus has been a welcome, recurring event for Minot and the surrounding community for 70 years. We are preparing for this event and can’t wait to see your smiling faces at the 2026 Northwest Shrine Circus.
The Minot Shrine Club serves as the local representative body of Shriners International. Shriners are a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic values of personal integrity, moral conduct, and community service, aiming to make men better through self-improvement, charity, and upholding the virtues of honesty, fairness, and tolerance.

Shaun Lewellyn, Minot Shrine Club Circus Chairman, and Dizzy the Clown cut the ribbon during the announcement event.
