Minot United Hockey Shines Despite Early Struggles

Minot United Hockey has experienced a season of highs and lows so far, showing resilience and strong individual performances across both the junior varsity and varsity teams.

The season opened with a challenging night on November 21st, where the JV squad fell 3-1, and the varsity team lost 4-0. Despite the tough results, goaltenders Luke Richeson and Canton Christians impressed with strong play between the pipes, keeping both teams competitive and highlighting their skill and composure under pressure.
The team bounced back later in the season, including a standout performance on November 29th when Minot United secured a decisive 6-1 victory over Notre Dame. This win demonstrated the team’s offensive capabilities and growing cohesion on the ice.

Throughout the season, both squads have faced a mix of fierce competition and challenging matchups. While early setbacks tested the team’s resolve, Minot United players have continued to build chemistry, sharpen skills, and show flashes of the talent that will carry them through the remainder of the season.

The Minot United schedule remains busy, with upcoming games against rival Fargo North and Fargo South promising intense matchups. Fans can expect competitive, fast-paced hockey as both the JV and varsity teams look to improve their records and make a statement in the second half of the season.

With strong goaltending, emerging stars, and a growing confidence, Minot United Hockey is poised to continue improving, representing Minot with determination and grit on every shift.
