The 742nd Missile Squadron is integral to sustaining America’s strategic deterrence mission. Recently, the squadron dominated in the 91st Operations Group Roughrider Operations Competition, earning 1st place and securing the Schlabach Trophy. The competition included testing for Facility Managers, Missile Combat crew members, and Missile Procedure Training (MPT) rides. Additionally, the 742 Missile Squadron was crucial in supporting Exercise GLOBAL THUNDER 2026, directing the Crisis Action Team for the 91st Missile Wing and simultaneously taking part in Exercise BULLY VIGILANCE 25 2, showcasing the discipline, precision, and readiness that keep America’s deterrent a cornerstone of national security.
