My name is Iliana McBride, I am 12 years old and I am in 7th grade at Erik Ramstad Middle School. I enjoy playing golf for the Minot North golf team. I am planning to join cheer this winter. I am planning to join the track team this spring. I play the flute and I recently started playing the piccolo for my band. I am auditioning for the All City and All State band. I am a student assistant for Ramstad’s 222 brew. 222 Brew is a coffee shop in the school. The money that is made goes into field trips in the class. I am hoping to be in Ramstad’s newspaper club. I do FTC and FRC Robotics outside of school. I dress up as the mascot for FRC.

I love the environment at Ramstad because we have a swimming pool where we can swim in for PE. We get to go outside when it’s nice and walk on the track and play outdoor games on the football field, and sometimes on the baseball and softball fields. The school is made up of three stories. The top floor is for 6th graders. 2nd for 7th graders, and ground level for 8th graders. My sister does the newspaper for Northern Sentry.

I am excited to bring Ramstad events to the newspaper and I hope I have more opportunities to be in the newspaper.
