What do you enjoy most about being an FCC Provider?
The part I enjoy the most is building meaningful relationships with the children and their families. Watching the little ones grow, learn, and reach new milestones each day is such a joy. It feels special to know I can provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive.
What are your interests/hobbies?
Outside of my FCC program, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks with our dogs, exploring new places, and finding fun activities to do with my kids. I also love planning creative projects—whether it’s art, sensory play, or seasonal activities.
What advice do you have for new providers/those interested in being FCC Providers?
I would encourage new providers to be patient with themselves and to find joy in the small moments. Every child is unique, and flexibility goes a long way. It also helps to build a strong support network with other providers—you can learn so much from each other. Most importantly, remember that the impact you have on a child’s life is lasting, even in the simplest everyday moments.
