MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. — Team Minot leaders and community members came together during a Military Affairs Committee (MAC) luncheon at Minot Air Force Base, May June 5, 2025.
Hosted regularly by both the Minot Area Chamber Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and Minot AFB, the MAC lunch provides a platform for civic leaders and military personnel to connect, exchange ideas, and stay informed about the base’s mission and activities.

During this specific luncheon, wing leadership shared mission updates, discussed ongoing initiatives, and recognized the continued support from the Minot community.

“For decades, the Minot MAC has preserved and strengthened the relationship between the local community and Air Force through education and advocacy,” said Abigail Kinder, 5th Bomb Wing Public Affairs chief of community relations. “MAC lunches allow local leaders the opportunity to see inside the Minot AFB world and vice versa. They provide us with a sense of fellowship that is the building block of our partnership.”

The event also featured a presentation from unit representatives across the wing, detailing their roles in strategic deterrence and allowing MAC members to gain an in-depth understanding of Team Minot’s mission.
These events play a vital role in fostering mutual support and collaboration between the base and local leaders and ensure Team Minot remains connected with the broader community it serves.
