The 2024/2025 Wintery Photo Contest was a huge success! We received nearly 100 breathtaking and fun winter photos from the Minot AFB community. While we’re sad to see the contest end (and the snow fun along with it), warmer days are ahead!

Now for the winners! Sonia Bries was randomly selected as the grand prize winner of the Bottineau Winter Park Family Five Pack—her family was thrilled!

As a special recognition, the Northern Sentry staff selected our favorite entry. With so many incredible submissions, it was tough, but we chose Staci Haynes’ stunning shot of the Sisu Lantern Stroll. She’ll receive a Downtown Minot gift card for her beautiful work.

And one more surprise—we’ve selected a photo for the Winter Guide 2025/2026 cover! But we’re keeping that reveal under wraps for now.
