Community Rocks Gifting Ceremony

The Community Rocks Board of Directors announces their Gifting Ceremony to be held on Wednesday March 27th at 6pm at Prairie Sky Breads. A total of $43,000, raised at our event on February 17th, will be distributed to 13 beneficiaries via 14 total gifts as follows:

  • $35,000 to the Primary Beneficiary the Minot Symphony Orchestra
  • $500 to the BIO Girls on behalf of Emcees Krist & Keli Rosselli-Sullivan
  • $500 to the MSU Summer Theatre on behalf of Lead Vocalist Jazmine Wolff-Schultz
  • $250 to the F5 Project on behalf of Community Rocks! Vocalists
  • $250 to the Union Silos Project on behalf of Community Rocks! Vocalists
  • $500 to the Minot Symphony Orchestra on behalf of the Community Rocks! Orchestra
  • $500 to MACA on behalf of Brandon Trondson of More Than Music
  • $500 to the MPS Bus Pass Challenge on behalf of auctioneer Kevin Beeter
  • $500 to the Chuck Full of Music Scholarship Fund on behalf of graphic designer Kristin Michels
  • $500 to the MPS Foundation Classroom Innovation Fund on behalf of photographer Rick Heit
  • $500 to the Ward County K9 Unit on behalf of Hometown Radio Group
  • $500 to the Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry on behalf of Niess Impressions
  • $1,000 in MSU Music Scholarships on behalf of the Community Rocks! Board
  • $2,000 to the Minot String Academy on behalf of the Community Rocks! Board
    With a mission dedicated to planning and delivering performance arts events to improve our community, the Community Rocks! Board consists of: Erik Anderson (President), Andy Bertsch (Vice President), Jazmine Wolff-Schultz, Kristi Rosselli-Sullivan, Keli Rosselli-Sullivan, Jane Hirst, Abbie Eads, and Lindsey Bertsch.
