March is the month to celebrate music in our schools! North Plains Elementary School for the month of March embraced the diversity, creativity, and uniqueness of our students through music! Every teacher was challenged to incorporate as much music into their classrooms as possible through trivia, books, singing, body percussion, and dancing.

Did you know that music is one of the only subjects in school that engages both sides of the brain and aids in higher achievement in other academic areas such as math, reading, and science? Pretty cool, huh? To finish out our music month the entire school dressed up for the decades and had the opportunity to dress as their favorite musician. The North Plains Elementary staff really brought the decades to life!
