The first ever Northern Sentry “Best of Minot AFB” Awards are finally complete! The votes have been counted, tallied and the people of Minot AFB are ready to have their voices heard! The entire process of the awards, from the nominations to the voting, was based solely on the popular vote and the voice of the people at Minot AFB. We wanted to hear about what YOU like to eat, what YOU like to do and where YOU like to do it! These awards do just that. So YOUR winners are……

Best Local Restaurant: Casa Jalisco Mexican Restaurant

Best Local Family Activity: Minotauros Hockey

Best Local Adult Activity: North Dakota State Fair

Best School: Memorial Middle School

Best Minot AFB Food: Son of a Brunch

Best Minot AFB Hang Out: Rough Rider Lanes

We had a blast working on these awards this year and hope to continue in the years to come! Huge thanks to everyone who nominated, voted and shared our content! And a major congratulations to the few that can now call themselves Minot AFB’s “The Best”!

Winners: Over the next few days you will be contacted via email or phone and we’ll find a good time to present you with your award in person. Now, feel free to share with friends, family and social media that YOU are indeed a BEST of Minot AFB!
