Bishop Ryan High School runs an Annual Volleyball Tournament to raise funds for their volleyball program. They hosted over forty teams this year, which is the most teams they have hosted, said the Tournament Director, Nick Theis. The tournament ran between Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th. Among the participating teams, there was a team from Montana and others from different cities of North Dakota.

Two Minot AFB Coed Teams participated in the Power Division and one in the Fun Division. Two out of the three teams brought home championship t-shirt in both categories. Additionally, one of the two women’s teams from our base came in second in the Power Division against the Montana team. Men also took second versus a non-Minot team. The Minot AFB women’s volleyball team “Minot AFB Lady Bombers” will be going to be participating at the 2024 USA Volleyball Open National Championship at the end of May. We wish them the best of luck!
