DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nWe love running, dogs, and beer and we wanted turn those loves into a way to give back to the animal rescue organizations in our community.\nFor more info and registration: https://runsignup.com/Race/ND/Minot/HairoftheDogND ( https://runsignup.com/Race/ND/Minot/HairoftheDogND )\n𝟱𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗻/𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗴 – This is a traditional 5K event and will be timed.\nYou can run it as fast as you can or jog/walk it for fun.\nFeel free to bring your dog with you as this event is “for the dogs”, but dogs are not required!\nAll human participants will get a signature Hair of the Dog mug as well as a free post run beer at Atypical.\n𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲 – Please join us for the 3rd annual Beer Mile! 4 Beers and a 1 Mile run! Here is how it is done.\n– Drink one full can of beer within the sectioned off Beer Zone on our course.\n– Run one loop of the 1/4 mile course. Simply follow the cones and back to the Beer Zone\n– You will repeat the above steps 3 more times.\n– If you “toss your cookies” (PLEASE use one of the garbage receptacles along the course for this purpose), you have to run a one lap penalty for this offense.\n**Thankfully you don’t have to consume an extra beer, just run an additional 1/4 mile.\nDoes that sound like an impossible feat?\nGet four friends and sign up for a Relay Team!\n** You will be required to show your driver’s license or proof of age. NO ID, NO RACE. NO EXCEPTIONS. All participants will be given a wrist bracelet that must be worn during the event.\nAll participants of the beer mile will get a signature Hair of the Dog mug as well as the four free Atypical beers used in the event.\n𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘆 – All Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes welcome.\nIf we have enough registered Dachshunds we will have age categories but otherwise the top 3 dogs win.\nEach Dachshund should bring two human assistants, one to let them go when the race director yells “go” and one to stand on the other end of the lane bribing them with food or treats to get them to the other end the fastest.\nEach dog participant will get a treat bag and custom race bandana to wear at the event.\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAtypical Brewery & Barrelworks ( https://visitminot.org/venue/atypical-brewery-barrelworks/ ), 510 Central Ave East\nMinot, ND 58701 United States\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
