DESCRIPTION:This Vocational Track workshop offers a unique opportunity to identify skills, increase awareness of training/credential programs, and develop an action plan to achieve career goals. Join us for this month’s two-day on February 13th and February 14th from 8:00AM – 4:00PM.\nService members and spouses who attend the two-day Department of Labor Career Exploration and Planning Track (CEPT) workshop will complete personalized career development assessments of occupational interest, aptitudes, and work values. These assessments will present workshop participants with a variety of tailored job recommendations aligned with their interests and aptitudes, some of which are classified as “high demand” or “high growth” occupations.\nWhat you’ll accomplish with this class:\n\nIdentify Skills\nIncrease awareness regarding\n\nTraining\nCredentials\nTrends\nEducation\n\n\nAssessments include\n\nOccupational Interests\n\n\nAptitudes\nWork Values\n\n\nDevelop a PLAN\n\nParticipants will learn to narrow their career focus by establishing achievable career goals and development strategies.
